Directions to Florida’s Space Coast
Sponsored by:  Budget Rent A Car

Brevard County Space Coast is located on the East Coast of Central Florida and boasts the closest beaches to the Central Florida Attractions.

Arriving by car?  From either north or south take Interstate 95.  State Road U.S. 1 will get you there too, but not as quickly.  From Central Florida, take either State Road 528 or State Road 50.  There are other routes, but we do not recommend them due to number of lanes and or congestion.

Arriving by air?  Melbourne International Airport offers daily flight service and Orlando International Airport is only about 40 miles from Central & North Brevard County.  There are a few smaller airports including the Executive Airport in Titusville & Merritt Island Airport for private planes.

Arriving by boat?  The Indian River is the common waterway running the length of the State Of Florida.  Brevard County has two major inlets; Sebastian Inlet at the Southern most point and Port Canaveral located near the Kennedy Space Center in Central Brevard County.

Arriving by Shuttle?  If weather conditions are right, most astronauts prefer the shuttle-landing site located at the Kennedy Space Center.
